SHERI'S STORY
People tend to work with me for the same reasons they stay working with me: I’m honest, dependable, and I follow through. When I say I’ll do something, it gets done, and it gets right.
I’ve been an entrepreneur since 2000. Over the years, I’ve built businesses from the ground up, sold one, worked inside others, and spent time in operational environments where decisions have real consequences. I’ve worked in waste and environmental services, manufacturing-adjacent operations, and small business settings where clarity isn’t a luxury, it’s necessary.
Along the way, I’ve stayed deeply involved in my community, volunteering with SCORE and Junior Achievement, mentoring new entrepreneurs, and in 2015 receiving recognition through SCORE for my community involvement. Supporting people who are building something, often while figuring it out as they go, like I did, has always mattered to me.
What I’ve learned through all of that is that problems usually aren’t caused by lack of effort. They come from default thinking.
“This is how we’ve always done it.”
Choosing the cheapest option without looking at the downstream cost.
Sticking with an unreliable vendor because change feels risky.
These are the moments where things quietly get harder than they need to be and they’re the moments where I do my best work.
I’m good at stepping back, seeing the full picture, and helping people sort signal from noise. I connect people to solutions, and often to each other, in ways that make systems work better instead of harder. I care a lot about reducing unnecessary friction.
I do my best work when expectations are clear, trust goes both ways, and the goal is real progress. I’m never afraid to say I don’t know something, and I’ll always own my mistakes. At the same time, I take responsibility seriously, and the people I work with never have to wonder whether I’ll show up or follow through.
If you’re looking for someone who will be straight with you, work hard, and help make your life easier by bringing clarity to complex or overlooked problems, there’s a good chance we’ll work well together.
